Volunteer at Centro
Our volunteers help us succeed in everything we do.
You are the reason why we are able to stand and continue to provide life-changing programs and services for our community.
As a small non-profit organization with few full-time employees, Centro relies on the skills, time, and commitment of our volunteers to help us achieve our mission.
Through their efforts, we have been able to realize our ongoing youth and family programs, teach ESL, and provide a network of tutors for our learning and expanding clientele. We’ve also been able to bring different cultural perspectives and experiences to the table.
We provide volunteers with a variety of events and programs throughout the year.
Contact us today if you are interested in any of the following volunteer opportunities:
- Teach or assist in teaching our English as a Second Language (ESL) classes.
- Lead children’s activities at our childcare time during Adult ESL classes.
- Help with middle- and high-school programs as a tutor or mentor.
- Interpret at workshops, meetings or special events.
- Help with set-up and registration at special events, such as our annual Latin Awards Gala.
- Assist with maintenance, administrative organization, or painting throughout our facility.
All volunteer hours are logged and can serve toward university volunteer credits or as reference for future teaching positions and other professional opportunities.
Community is everything. Get involved today!
